Lorenzo

This little guy was so cute! He was playing hard-to-get with those smiles. But luckily he pulls off the serious model pose really well. :]

Mandie {Maternity}

March 23rd, 2010

Maternity shoots have to be one of my favorite. I love to capture that beautiful, special time of mother and baby growing together so closely. It’s such a miracle, really. Maternity shoots have to be one of my favorite. I love to capture that beautiful, special time of mother and baby growing together so closely. It’s such a miracle, really. I get so happy when mama’s-to-be book a session, because I know they’ll be so glad they did after the little one arrives. When I was pregnant with Sydney, I set up my tripod and waddled back and forth from the camera in various outfits and cloths. :] It was probably a funny sight to see, but I now treasure those photos!

Mandie’s shoot last week went so well. I love utilizing my whole house as my studio -not just my formal backdrops and lighting kit. I’ve painted a couple walls in my house since, and continue to add little additions here and there that work for photos. This way when someone books a “studio” session with me, they get studio lights, natural window light, and some outdoor shots in the surrounding rustic areas by my house. The more variety, the better in my book!
